The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look unsuited, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to go next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used the foes for his own means, entering the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the other eight players to assemble the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can anticipate discovering which players will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
